As Mad as a Hatter, the Alice in Wonderland Party

I now know why the Mad Hatter was called just that.....I have just completed 18 mini top hats for Paige's Mad Hatter Tea Party later this month.
While there are many patterns on how to make these mini top hats, I wasn't happy with most....so after a few trial and errors I made a design that achieved what I wanted. Lets face it, its all about me!!!
These hats were a great way to use up small fabric squares. With the help of feathers, tulle, ribbon and little gems found at most craft places I armed myself with a glue gun and got to work. The glue gun got me on more than one occasion and there were some fancy words used to reprimand it for not being Brenda friendly.
So after many hours and slightly burnt finger tips I am done.
Paige's hat used the same fabric as her Alice in Wonderland dress and of course had the most adornments.
I am very happy with my hats and hope the party girls enjoy them too.

These are just some of my hats. I thought I'd better get photos before party day. Its hard to choose a favourite as they are all pretty in there own way.
