Annie, Tomorrow Tomorrow, the dress is due Tomorrow.

I am not a fan of little Orphan Annie.....its not that I don't like musicals because I do, and its not that I have an issue with the red wigs....or maybe it is....red wigs are kinda odd. Ronald McDonald wears one after all....and he is a clown, I don't like clowns either...But...when I was asked to make an outfit for a girl who all she wanted for Christmas was an Annie dress I couldn't say no.
I didn't have a pattern for an exact Annie dress and I am in no way a pattern designer it was a challenge.
The dress had to resemble the one from the live show she attended, which had black piping around the edges.
It took me a few days to make a pattern,  then adjust it again. When I went to bed I would realise an error in my design, and then fix it the next morning. Sewing had the same issues, I would think I had the perfect way to put it together then have to unpick and start again.
The dress was due for collection on Christmas Eve...I finished it  10 pm the night before.
All I hope was the future little Orphan Annie would like it......and she did. I must tell you this little Orphan Annie has a great voice, she has had no formal training and she preformed two songs from the show and I got genuine goosebumps. Get her an agent now Mummy!!!!
